Priyanka Chopra, Fawad Khan to pair up for Reema Kagti’s ‘Mr Chaalu’
Fawad Khan has replaced Saif to play a charming womaniser in the drama after Excel's negotiations with Shahid Kapoor proved futile.
After being roped in for Karan Johar’s ‘Kapoor and Sons’, Fawad Khan seems to have bagged yet another Bollywood biggie.
Reema Kagti’s next ‘Mr Chaalu’, which has been in news due to its ever-changing lead couple, has finally found its lead pair. Reports say that Reema has zeroed in on the ‘Khoobsurat’ Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
The movie was previously offered to Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut. Saif walked out of the project due to some disagreements over remuneration and the role was, then, offered to Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid also apparently walked out of the venture citing date issues as he is currently preoccupied with Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ and Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’, both co-starring Alia Bhatt.
